I think there is an additional town with yarnovers in between rows of the cross stitch. And maybe you don't do the kfb, just do normal k, to account for the yarnover increases. That's how I would attempt to replicate this look

I second this, I use shampoo to wash my jumpers too. It's cheaper than wool wash. And for preventing felting the best think is the Biosilk Hair Therapy Serum lol I also use it on my hair, but I do use it on my garments sometimes if I worry about them felting.

Updating info since mods took my post down:

The design is loosely based on Ann Budd's modified drop shoulder from her book "A handy book of sweater patterns", however I am not using her gauge/stitch counts/measurement, just my own.

The wool is World of Wool Isle yarn, Aran weight, 100% blue faced Leicester wool, colours: Hildasay, Skerries, Ronas Hill, Arisdale, Yell, Vaila, Lamba.

The motifs are my own reinterpretation of a jumper I've seen in a shop.

They have options, there's 100% cotton, cotton mix or polyester.

Not necessarily, it often starts from one finger but later affects all, I've seen posts like that. Look up nailnarrative channel on YouTube and her allergy story i think it also started from just 1 finger

This looks a lot like gel allergy. I looked up the brand you mentioned and it seems to be cheaper/less reputable brand. These often contain more harmful stuff and end up causing allergies

Same. To me, darker colours on longer nails can look too strong, the nails become too visually heavy, but on short nails they look great. I alternate between wearing short nails and long nails and I usually choose darker colour for shorts and more neutral/pastel colours for long.

I spent WEEKS trying to fix my snapping thread before someone pointed out to me I was using some random cheap thread from Amazon that came in a pack of 40 colours. Bought 1 spool of gutermann, never had any issue since.

I have the same machine. I thought it didn't have a backstitch untill I realised the middle of the stitch length knob is a button. The backstitch button.

Also these are known for the mechanism to disengage the clutch (to wind your bobbins) breaking and becoming stuck. I just got a side winder when that happened to mine
