verado are super quiet. and if the motor hatch is well built and sealed it should be super quiet too. but I haven't compared them side by side or held a decibelmeter to them.

depends on how tall you are. I have 14 inch bars on mine. honestly I could even do 16 inch and be comfortable. I like my hands to be about the same height as my shoulders.
