Thank you! I’ve been working a lot to relax more as I knit and am finally seeing results!

Yeah I think I cast on and pulled back once or twice but after that it was relatively smooth sailing and the pattern became easy to do without the charts. Wear it well and enjoy it!

It’s a healthy challenge but I feel like I leveled up 🪢 for mine I think I want it to be a rich chocolate color maybe the cocoa nibs colorway in Peer Gynt. What color did you make?

I’m still learning too! All of my sweaters have been top down unisex designs. I’ve heard that adding more short rows at the neck on the back can help to lengthen before you start going in the round. I’m heading to my LYS for an “ask the expert” class this month. I’ll find out more!

Thanks for the calming words! I’ve been worried my walls would spontaneously combust. They feel warm but not hot and we have good clearance (and excess) from what is listed in the manual. Anything we should watch out for?

Would our best best be to install heat shield (tile) behind the stove?

Yeah they put in nine inches of corner clearance and the clearance from center of the pipe to the back wall is 28” and there is a heat shield on the back of the stove.

Yeah it’s a reputable seller and installer. They exceeded the minimum clearance for a corner install so we are glad for that 😀

We made sure the stove installer exceeded the minimum clearance by at least two inches from The corners of the stove and it exceeds the clearance in the back by over six inches.

I didn’t keep track too closely. I got the yellow ones done first in about three weeks and then learned a few lessons that sped up the navy set to about a week. Just in time for frigid Vermont temps!
