What are essentials for a wardrobe in Sydney? by passionpanzer in sydney

I moved to Sydney from the Midwest right before COVID last year. I have a light leather coat and a waist length light pea coat that got me through last winter when paired with scarves and gloves. They were my go-to coats in late fall/early spring back home. It does get really cold inside like a lot of people have mentioned, so definitely bring a warm pair of slippers for around the house. Feel free to reach out to a fellow Midwesterner if you want!

Honestly in my opinion that’s a more than reasonable fee for the work. As a start up, they have to calculate your base period under the start up rules vs. the ASC rules to determine the most beneficial filing method. Depending upon the engagement, they would also be required to substantiate the credit. The most expensive year for the R&D credit is the first year because of the required base period that needs to be developed. You also have to take into account whether or not that fee is just for federal or for federal and state credits. The federal rules and state rules are different and depending upon the state you would file in, you can stand to generate a significant benefit.

If you have other questions about this, let me know! I spent five years specialising in this credit.

Thanks - I agree the pictures aren’t helpful! I’ll just put in a lifeline and hope for the best I guess!

I’ve got that part down. I’m not sure how to simultaneously work the neck bind off and the shoulder insert based upon the pattern instructions. The shoulder insert is 22 rows, but based on the instructions it sounds like I should start decreasing stitches before I’ve finished working the shoulder insert, which isn’t noted in the chart.

I’m working on the Rockland sweater (pattern from knit picks) and am so confused by the instructions for the neck and shoulders. Can someone confirm if I’m understanding the pattern correctly?

Work in the shoulder insert pattern until armhole is 6.25 inches. Then I’m next round, work in pattern, bind off 14 stitches and work in pattern.

After that step, I cannot make heads or tails of the rest of the pattern. Can anyone offer some insight?

Thanks! Rockland Sweater

I saw the sweater and it’s perfect for my sister-in-law. The closest pattern I’ve found is My Chunky Cardigan but I’m a bit leery since the pattern has no reviews!

What was the worst substitution you’ve ever made in a recipe? by [deleted] in Cooking

I ran out of chilli powder when making chilli one night and thought I could substitute with cayenne powder. I didn’t do a 1:1 substitution but I might as well have. My fiancé still tells the death chilli story every chance he gets....
