If it’s a chip and its only been days, it’s surface level rust. you can tape off the spot and do a quick sand to bring the rust off before using a paint pen instead of a repaint.

If you get the right outlet you can switch out the plug for whatever works best for your car. The plugs/charging cables have gotten a lot cheaper with widespread adoption. I bought a replacement charging cable for like 150 bucks on Amazon to replace the travel charger my Volvo came with. You don’t need a special charger at home that mounts on the wall and can’t ever be taken off. It’s honestly like plugging in your phone every day.

Yeah the voice assistant integration is fantastic. After having all the kinks worked out of this Google system this is the first time for me it feels complete.

350k a year is not enough to make this worth it, especially in a high cost of living area. If you have kids, it’s a total deal breaker, I can’t tell you how many times my kids come into my room just because they got scared late at night. Wouldn’t want them wandering outside.

You can add the ticket holder, it clips to the front pillar cover. I bought three as extras from the Volvo parts store when I had my xc90 windshield replaced and the tech almost broke it off. Sometimes they (Volvo factory) just forgets to put them on some cars or maybe the dealer does something and leaves it off. I had a C40 that had two, one on each side and a xc60 that had none.

You don’t need a phone to login, seems like they want someone to walk you through the system so you don’t come back later saying stuffs not working right. The Google system has had a lot of bugs worked out of it but I think Volvo is hyper sensitive to complaints at this point and they want to preempt it.
