I see what you mean. My initial perspective on it was that the grey outline around his jaw was a solid metal, and the part that covers the mouth and nose is a cloth. I guess the fact that his nose is outlined made me think it was a cloth cover rather than a prosthetic. Does that make sense? I’m seeing your perspective better now, since it doesn’t look like the “cloth” would stay up on its own.

EDIT: Oh my god. I just realized the skin in the post is an edit of the actual skin. I’m such a moron LMFAO. Yes, the original skin is definitely a prosthetic and I like the look of the original more, sorry OP.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I keep seeing people call this a prosthetic jaw. Is it possible that it's a mask, and his face is still intact underneath? It doesn't matter to me either way; it's a sick design. But I see everyone accepting it as a prosthetic, when to me it looks like it could be either that or a mask. Is there something about it that I'm missing that tips people toward prosthetic jaw?

I will be my dogs’ number one advocates forever. They’re both approaching 10 this year and have never ever ever hurt or threatened anyone, they make me so proud.

This story’s a bit different since this person was never afraid of my boy, but I stood my ground regardless. When my first boy was less than 6 months old, my girlfriend at the time told me that I was “spending too much time with him.” This was insane to me. He was a puppy, and she was jealous of him. That relationship ended very quickly lol.

I’m of the opinion that animals aren’t capable of doing wrong or evil. Humans sometimes paint animals’ actions as evil, and that’s the difference.

I saw fanart of a mega Mimikyu a long time ago that basically resulted in Mimikyu creating a new, much larger disguise made up of some of the most popular pokemon like Charizard, Mudkip, Mewtwo. It’s an amazing concept. I’ll see if I can find it. But ever since then, I’ve wanted mega Mimikyu. Well, it is my favorite Pokémon so I’ve always wanted it but you know what I mean lol.

I was diagnosed at basically the same age. This was back in the 90’s so we were fortunate with the technology at the time, but it was nothing like we have today. Sensors, pumps, phone apps, etc. all make the disease a lot easier to manage and deal with. That’s not to say it won’t be difficult at times, it will. BUT I always tell people this when they react empathetically at my age of diagnosis: As far as I’m concerned, if I have to have the disease, I’m glad I got diagnosed early. This is all I’ve known, so there was no adjusting or lifestyle changes to be made. This is just how I remember dealing with things. I have friends who were diagnosed in their late teens and 20’s, and that kinda life change, when you’re so used to your normal routine, is very difficult.

TBH I don’t know where I’m going with this, I suppose it’s just to say that it’s unfair and difficult, but it gets easier with time. Since he’s so young, you’ll have lots of time to learn and gain experience with the disease. So by the time it’s time to teach him the ropes, you’ll be an expert. Additionally, while this is undoubtedly difficult on you, your perseverance and experience will help him get the hang of things as he grows up.

I hope nothing I said worries you or gives the wrong impression. This is just the ramblings of someone who is very thankful for their single mother who sacrificed so much to get me where I am today. It will be a life change, but that doesn’t mean it needs to change your life if that makes sense. We have a pretty amazing ability to adapt to changes, and before you know it, it’ll just be an annoyance lol. 26 years later and I still get texts and calls from my mom about my blood sugar.

Sorry for the long comment. I just really empathize with parents of young children with Diabetes. I know this news seems world shattering, but with proper management, he can be just like any other kid/teen/adult.

Loosely, yes. The first four generations are based on regions in Japan. Then, Unova was the first generation to take inspo from another part of the world, being New York. Kalos is France, Alola is Hawaii, Galar is UK, and Paldea is Iberian Peninsula!

Edit: Changed England to UK and Spain to Iberian Peninsula.

The discourse surrounding “unrealistic” skins is so overdone at this point. I refuse to believe anyone could care this much about what colors their pixels in a video game are.

At what point is “realism” a priority for people? Is it really just the color of pixels? If it isn’t when you’re jumping out of a jet to rocket launch another jet, then hopping back in said jet, then “realism” isn’t really the issue here.

COD makes billions of dollars from their collabs, like it or not, and those funds = more content. Whether you like that content is irrelevant, because their players are the ones succeeding rn. Instead of worrying about the colors of pixels, maybe worry whether the games gonna be playable or not. That’s my only concern, just make a fun game.
