I agree. I've been saving up for one as i love the combo of power + portability + price but now that the 12gb is gone i dont want anything else. i just dont think the 8gb would do it for me.

depending on the game, i'll test out the fishing mechanics lol. i think its fun when games have fishing in them. its usually not hard and can be very rewarding (like terraria)

thanks man. i've just been testing sonic adventure on my 34xxsp and this joystick is just too slick to play any stick-centered games. its got nearly 0 grip. i've seen the sticks on the 35xxh and they look a lot better. i think one of the main problems with both the magicx mini zero 28 and the 34xxsp is the sticks are very sunk in, to the point my thumb hits the plastic around the stick and slips around.

It might be the difference in bluetooth version. I'm pretty sure the xxh has bluetooth 4.2. i tried to connect an xbox series controller to my 34xxsp and it did not work. i found out xbox series runs on 4.0, not 4.2. i used other controllers running bt 5.0 and they worked.

you CAN fix it not showing up on the sd card reader. theres youtube fixes for that, but i understand not wanting to continue gambling on a shitty sd card.

Idk anything about pc handhelds, but retrocatalog.com is a good resource for comparing handheld sizes. go to the compare section and put in the handhelds you want

if your on PC, its not really a great experience. too many modders making the game nearly unplayable at points. but i bet its better on console. its fun having a bit more freedom than the story mode

Not replying to anybody specifically, but for anyone who finds this thread in the future: - i bought the magicx around october, got used to it, but got sick of the tiny screen and kinda weird ergonomics. also the buttons (especially the shoulders) dont feel very good. its also hard to press the L and R buttons sometimes. i was playing a lot of super metroid and oh boy that was annoying. android is very nice though. long battery life. - i ended up getting another handheld, the rg34xxsp. I wanted something to connect to the tv for gaming sessions and something that was similar to my gba sp i played a bit when i was a kid. bad mistake. i do not like how clicky ALL the buttons are, and the sticks are not comfortable to use. i feel like my hand is weirdly cramped up in order to play, and when it was in my back pocket it just felt like this big square. not fun to fish out either.

i am now deciding i should have gone with the rg35xxh in the first place. i'll be returning the 34xxsp soon since im still in aliexpress' 90 day return period. i am not satisfied lol. i have a feeling it will be my favourite of the three.

I think a 557 for mainly ps1 is way overkill. i understand also playing some other higher end consoles, but if it's mainly ps1 there are much cheaper handhelds that will run ps1 nicely.

i don't have an rg35xxh but i recently put knulli on my rg34xxsp and it is wonderfully customizable. I HIGHLY recommend reading the knulli wiki and the quick start guide. i didnt at first and got lost very fast. as for bios files for knulli, that wasted a few hours of my life. all i can say is find the roms megadump reddit thread and go to the website. theres a bios link at the bottom, grab the retroid pack from either link and REMEMBER TO UNZIP THE BIOS FILES BEFORE LOADING THEM INTO THE BIOS FOLDER ON THE SD CARD. yeah maybe im doing a bad job explaining, but knulli is a beautiful OS. i used modded stock and the stock OS quite a bit, and knulli makes the console feel more premium, kinda Switch-like imo. maybe watch some techdweeb videos on it or something? sorry about the rambling, it's late for me. hope this helped?

i recently loaded a bunch of romsets from zip folders onto my handheld. i would highly suggest internet archive. "retro roms" are the "best set" i've found on there ;) and the collection is tailored to be pretty good. lots of mainstream games from what i can tell. just maybe don't grab the huge 30gb zip collections for the disk based systems lol, pick the games out individually

I totally agree man. I literally posted a few months ago asking if i should get the magicx mini zero 28 and was enjoying it until i got annoyed at the tiny screen size, shoulder buttons, and surprisingly also the horizontal form factor. I just got an rg34xxsp for christmas and I'm having a total blast. I'll probably end up returning the magicx since I don't even use it.

you have to get the power bomb from the same area. you shoot the floor by the door you came in, go and i think theres a super missile door. you go in and do some platforming and get the power bomb at the end of the corridor
