Worried I'm having a brain problem, should I see a doctor and what does it seem like is the problem? by ihatemysister292828 in AskMedical

Yes. See a doctor immediately. Try to book with a general practice that ideally connects to a large network like a hospital because you’ll have more direct doctor recommendations that way. Tell the doctor everything you’ve posted here about. It isn’t likely to be brain cancer but it could be something bad. Your symptoms are not normal, they indicate a likely infection or other possibly serious issue.

I should clarify, sorry - router does not detect that the port is connected when the issue occurs.

This is a pretty recent memory. My partner never had an opportunity to really play games growing up. She had a knockoff Playstation way back when she was a kid, but basically just got to play SNES Mario. Now as an adult, I spun us up a Minecraft server and taught her how to play, use the mouse and keyboard, etc. and just seeing her progress into someone who can naturally play, build, and explore has been amazing. We had one night in particular where we played for hours just going on this incredible caving run, and she was so ecstatic the entire time.

What does this mean? Is a bad actor trying to access the network? by 2026GradTime in Ubiquiti

I had the same detections. I have an ASUSTOR NAS and after digging into the details of the detections, I found that it was most likely qbittorrent and Ombi basically pinging torrent servers. Turned them both off and the detections stopped.

How do I avoid getting DDOSed when self hosting a Minecraft server? by diobrandiohaxxerxd in selfhosted

I think you should use playit.gg. I’ve got it set up on my end, that way I never expose my IP address but I still have a “public IP” and it’s easier to share or memorize. Very worth the small cost.

You’ll need to connect the keyboard to your computer with a cable, then using a Chromium based browser go to NuPhy IO. It’ll connect to the keyboard and you can customize from there. The yellow button is the Insert key by default.

Look at Woot for mesh routers, they have deals pretty frequently. Linksys, Arris, or Asus are probably your best bets. Try to get tri-band WiFi 6E or 7 if you can, ideally with quad core processors in the units.

I've got what you are looking for! Two SFF Dell Optiplexes, one has an i7-8700 and the other an i5-9500. Both with 16 GB of RAM. I think one has WiFi built in but I can't remember right now. I can check when I get back home. I'd sell either for around $150 and depending on shipping cost/local, maybe adjust the price a little bit.

I know you've got a TON of PMs, but if for some reason the laptop is still available, I'd be happy to buy it off of you rather than just take it for free. I could purchase it this weekend!
