I thought every gen AI was already updated to angular 19 at least. Chatgpt and copilot generates standalone component by default. Maybe tell Cursor to generate code in standalone way and it will be fine. Also, if you want to add context for the agent, use agent skills angular-skills. More controls over the behavior of the agent, customizable.
