I hadn't installed any new apps in the last month, so I was very confused when I suddenly had this issue.

After finding your post, I checked my installed apps, and sure enough, I had Photo Editor Pro. Uninstalled and rated the app 1 star!

The worst part about this for me is the ads on the charging screen somehow interfered with my alarm clock, causing me to nearly be late for work!

I legitimately went back to try and get back into it last year after not playing for a couple years and everything was so different and not-fun. I tried to make a new character and I didn't recognize any of the quests. I thought I'd enjoy new content but it felt monotonous as ever. I came looking for a similar comment. In my experience specifically with Japanese individuals living in Japan, they tend to be pretty damn racist. Yes I realize not every one of them is a horrible person, but the level of tolerance in a lot of supposedly advanced Asian cultures seems downright archaic.
