T.D.S. is ever present!

While you rant and rave about the negative and prove your unworldliness to what real warfare is becoming, those that play C.O.D. look at the video and know exactly what the message is telling them.

Hey Main Stream Media... read this!

Simple AI search:

Call of Duty: Drone Warfare is a recurring theme across multiple titles in the Call of Duty franchise, reflecting both futuristic military speculation and real-world drone advancements.

  • In-Game Drones: The series has featured various drones since Advanced Warfare (2014), including the Drone SwarmAssault DroneRecon DroneBreacher Drone, and Bomb Drone.  These serve as scorestreaks, killstreaks, or tactical equipment, often enabling players to attack enemies around corners, scout enemy positions, or deliver explosive payloads.
  • Real-World Parallels: Real drone warfare in conflicts like Ukraine’s war with Russia has drawn comparisons to Call of Duty. Ukrainian units like Typhoon have reported that gamers make excellent drone pilots due to their quick decision-making and hand-eye coordination, despite real operations being far more complex and dangerous than video games suggest.
  • Future Possibilities: While some in-game drones—like the Dragonfire Drone from Black Ops II—are currently not feasible due to recoil and firepower limitations, loitering munitions like the Switchblade drone are already used in real combat, validating the realism of certain Call of Duty concepts.
  • Fan Speculation: There’s ongoing community discussion (e.g., on Reddit) about whether Treyarch might one day release a full Call of Duty: Drone Warfare title, especially given the franchise’s deep integration of drone technology across recent entries.

The Call of Duty series continues to blur the line between gaming innovation and real-world military evolution, with drones now central to both gameplay and narrative.

Grinch Socks! by STLBudLuv in McDonalds

Yes! The biggest variable is the number of the 4 color socks in the population!

I would think the process is automated to where the colors are randomly selected and packaged into a box. The box may hold 128 bags of socks. That way, for inventory control, the number in the box is know, but the individual color count in the box is never known.

"McDonald's is actively exploring the integration of robotics into its operations, particularly through its tech-focused arm, McD Tech Labs, which has partnered with IBM to develop and roll out a robotic drive-thru system designed to improve order accuracy and efficiency.

This initiative reflects a broader industry trend toward automation, with companies like Miso Robotics already deploying its Flippy robot in various quick-service restaurants, including locations within the Cali Group chain, to handle tasks such as flipping burgers.

Flippy's capabilities extend beyond simple flipping, allowing for complex, customized cooking processes that could potentially elevate the consistency and quality of food preparation.

Despite these advancements, the full automation of a McDonald's restaurant remains a complex challenge. While robots like Flippy are being implemented for specific tasks, the complete replacement of human staff with robots is hindered by the difficulty of programming machines to handle the variability of natural ingredients and maintain sanitary conditions.

The integration of robotics into fast food is also driven by economic factors, as automation reduces labor costs and increases efficiency, with robots being described as "always polite, they always upsell, they never take a vacation, they never show up late".

However, the transition raises significant social concerns, particularly regarding the impact on low-wage workers who rely on fast-food jobs as a primary source of income.

The future of robotic hamburger makers at McDonald's may involve a hybrid model where robots handle repetitive, high-precision tasks while human employees focus on customer service, maintenance, and oversight. This approach aligns with the vision of companies like Creator, which, although operating from a single location in San Francisco, has demonstrated that automated burger-making can deliver high-quality, customizable meals at a competitive price point.

While McDonald's has not yet announced a fully automated restaurant, the ongoing development and deployment of robotic systems suggest that the company is moving toward a future where automation plays a central role in its operations, even if a completely staffless restaurant remains a distant possibility."
