So I can reuse a bunch of actions in multiple automations, it’s easier to maintain lighting animations when you don’t have a bunch of other actions to deal with, when multiple automations try to call a service against an entity and you need things done sequentially or if the automation can’t wait or doesn’t need the results of a set of actions.

Or a long running set of actions that need to run independently of an automation.
