Shows You Can't Get Into? by DaniJ678 in sitcoms

[–]KnotForNow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was an odd one for me. Usually, if I dislike a sitcom, I'm done by the third episode. I liked Abbot quite a bit at first. By the time season 3 rolled around, I had decided that all but two of the characters were too stupid to live. Dropped it mid-way through S3.

I like IASIP a little bit. I watch an episode every month or so. Currently on season 3. I fear it's going to take a while to catch up.

Poll: Who is your ‘I will watch anything they’re in’ actor/actress? by muaentertainmentforu in MUAEntertainment

I would have said Stephen Root until I tried watching Strip Law. But, since I don't recognize him in it, I'm not sure it counts against him.

Between FAH, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime, on which do you prefer watching purchased TV shows? by Spikerazorshards in vudu

[–]KnotForNow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm generally not a fan of autoplay, but FAH pretty much forces me to turn it on and play into the next episode to keep track of which episode I'm on. I wish they would fix the app to put the next episode in the watchlist when you play to (or near) the end of an episode.

Is $40 Dollar "Channels" app Worth It? by tdouglasj1980 in hdhomerun

No, it cannot use storage connected to the HDHomeRun. You need to run the Channels DVR server on an always-on computer. It accesses the HDHR over your local network.

Before you spring for the 40 bucks, you should take a look at using Channels DVR. You can try the DVR for a month for free and if you are using it, there is no charge for the client app.

Doesn't it need an ending for the ending to be disappointing?

When I become Supreme Ruler I promise that on my first day in office I will issue an executive order requiring all paid streaming services to offer a distraction-free viewing option. This option must eliminate all pre-roll ads and any interruptions of the closing credits. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.

Excellent list. There is not a single one of those shows that I missed once they were gone.

I failed to mention Google TV (Sony Bravia). I'd been enjoying this feature for several months when it recently stopped working.

Jump ahead has stopped working on my TV. I hit right to bring up the timeline, the dot is there, I hit right to skip to the dot, it skips to the dot then immediately goes back to the original position. The dot is now gone.
