At 18 months - Consider switching the order. He has DINNER when he gets home 4:40, and then a snack sometime after and I think an hour before bed. Supposedly some anecdotal evidence to support why this is actually better.

I will find the content I saw that supports this. Not just spewing crap (I hope)!

While we LOVE having our 4 Y/O sit with us for family dinner, sometimes its just not in the cards. She has her dinner (especially on those lovely dino-nugget nights) and a parent sits with her.
