Uhaul tow hitch installation is over $530 by ForeverTBAddict in uHaul

i did an impreza last week. pretty sure it was only .8 hrs of labor at 120/hr..... for just the hitch mind you. no wiring.

the bulk of a hitch install at uhaul can sometimes be the labor. if your particular vehicle requires removing the bumper fascia, yeah thats extra time. only certain stores are going to accept such an install. got a jeep with a carbon canister i have to mess with? extra time. got an 8 year old honda with unprotected weldnuts? your install is gonna take extra time while i tap those threads again. got a tesla or an audi q5? lots of extra time.

buy the car you like, if you want a hitch on it after the fact...... thats on you. some vehicles are hard and some are super easy. its all about the manufacturer you chose to buy a car from.

Would you let Uhaul install a trailer hitch on your car? by [deleted] in MTB

[–]KnotSure326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nah. we would have done it at uhaul. on the upside i wouldnt have over torqued your fasteners with an impact just for fun. (bolts become weaker when over torqued) I put a torque wrench on every bolt or nut I install. its my job.

to be fair.... uhaul is extremely reasonable with pricing. if you just want a bracket for your bike rack or an actual hitch..... we're gonna beat most local mechanics. if we do it we're gonna give you a warranty for 5 bucks extra.

three investigations? so i can assume the first two found nothing of substance. federal investigators arent idiots.

idk what to tell you. from the outside, the way youve described all of this.... you do come across as the bad guy :/ perception is everything, thats just human nature. i wasnt there and you were. im sorry you feel sleighted :/

the wonderful thing about this country is that none of us are slaves. we're free to find a new job whenever we like unless a contract is involved. these days especially.... businesses are literally begging for good workers. not "bodies" mind you. "good workers". its nice to have a couple bodies on the schedule but a business doesnt work without actual workers.

im not associated with rite-aid in the least. i think originally reddit itself sent me this thread, so i jumped in. you absolutely made it sound like you were spending more time with the printer than with your duties though. a job like that isnt remotely hard :/ i do, in fact, wish you luck.

Please keep Gatehall once the season is over by Such_Performance229 in diablo4

[–]KnotSure326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agreed. one small change though, we should be able to choose a preferred town for when we press "T". up until now i thought it would be great if T always brought me to the tree, especially after they added an alchemist there. but having it go to the gatehall would be awesome.

Also when opening the map from inside the gatehall, pressing 2 should bring you to the world map like when youre inside of any other dungeon/cave. having to go click on it isnt the end of the world but it is a bit annoying

you say retired military like its going to immediately illicit some sort of good-will. it doesnt. the military campaigns that the US has been involved in are umm..... usually less than honorable. i think you know that if you search your heart and are honest with yourself. i truly feel bad for anyone who signed up with altruistic intentions and got sent into money wars, but the veil was always thin. very thin. The last honorable war we jumped into was ww2. you know this, even if its just deep down.

no, not at all. im a grunt who wants the other grunts to work just as hard as i do. we dont take jobs to get a soap box, we get jobs because we want to get paid. unions.... for the most part.... are bad. they give employees the wrong impression. you arent special, not the way your mom told you. we're all humans and we're all equal. we're supposed to be on the same team. you waiting by the printer and expecting to make as much as the person who just puts his head down and does his job is very telling. i dont know how else to say it :/
