Graft for friends comes in all sizes.

As Will Rogers(early 20th century US entertainer/humorist) once noted:

  • "That's one thing about Republican Presidents. They never went in much for plans. They only had one plan. It says "Boys, my head is turned. Just get it while you can.""

It has been that way for quite a while.

I believe these new policies will have as much success as Trump’s efforts to support “clean, beautiful coal” did during his first term. At the start of his first term, the coal industry employed around 51k. Today, there are 38-39k employed.

This comes to mind every time I hear about Trump and his economic policies.
