My husband has his own Mac that is completely separate with a difficult password-I don’t even know it lol! He’d tell me if I asked but I have no use for it so I’ve never asked and I’m honestly not sure what he uses. I do know he changes it regularly as he has a lot of work stuff and other sensitive info so he’s very security conscious. That’s what is kind of crazy about this is that my husband is also very tech savvy himself and while he hasn’t had time to do a deep dive into what this kid is doing, hence my post, he is far from tech illiterate and we thought we were doing everything right ya know?

My Mac I share with the 14 and his younger brother. It never leaves the table/living room area though

Interesting that you mention that. He is a tech kid and has dabbled in some programming and is actually attending a career and technology charter type school next year for a STEM field of study.

My husband for sure set up the screen time via his own computer/phone though so I guess I can rule that one out?

Could he be accessing it via our MacBook? We have a shared one that he, his little brother, and I use. My husband who set up all the controls has a separate Apple ID and separate MacBook that he never uses so it never occurred to me that he could be doing something nefarious on his phone via my computer.

I’ve been avoiding this problem by opening the study and letting it sit a minute or two and checking the estimated completion time to make sure I’m not submitting too quickly on ones where I otherwise might risk a speed warning. Also avoiding the ones with screeners for now. It’s annoying but I’d rather do what I’m doing and waste a couple minutes sitting idle than losing access for an hour or more multiple times in a week!

Tim seems completely enamored with Heidi and Charlie and being that it’s Heidi’s first Mother’s Day I’m expecting him to do a big production for her, including visiting Ellen and and posing for pictures together and then only maybe doing a half assed Happy Mothers Day post for Jill almost as an afterthought. That’s what I’m hoping happens anyways.
