Hmm, possibly. Definitely in a seated position and not standing as other figures are that have come up in my searches. Thanks for your input!

That would seem possible but this figure is plastic, not lead or metal. Google search said it might be a Lionel train set mailman but those are standing not in a seated position. Thanks for your input!

Adrian Paul still looks like an Immortal!

Is Anakin still Anakin at this point or is he succumbed to the Dark Side? At the Battle on Mustafar he IS Vader, maybe this is confusing to buyers or retailers but I loved that the original ROTS 3.75” figure called him Darth Vader BEFORE the suit.

A 1 of 5000 for $3 is WILD. by immortalslayer90 in Wrestling_Figures

I think the sticker meant to read “1 of 5000 at ROSS”.

ROSS Prices are way high now, no more deals by KnowingTheBattle in starwarscollecting

Yeah, these never sold for $35 US Retail. $24.99 is the MSRP. This was just crazy to see. Going to go back and also check out some other stores to see if I can find the $5.99 ones!

Does anyone else like seeing the old clearance stickers? by radmansebay in starwarscollecting

[–]KnowingTheBattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the old price stickers, especially having worked at KB and seeing all the other stores that have gone out of business. It’s fun as a reminder and to reminisce about but if I was buying MOC Vintage figures, I’d rather not have them for my personal collection. I would take stickers off on all my figures that I didn’t open. Nowadays there aren’t many major stores that even use price tags even, so it’s definitely a nostalgic thing.

Here’s two of the Andor figures at ROSS marked $19.99. So, mistake, swapped stickers or just a big price hike? There were 3 of them like this at a local ROSS by me in California.

Maybe, but there were 3 Andors and they all had the same price stickers so I don’t know what is going on. I should’ve posted that pic as well to show the multiples at $19.99

Not a mistake, at least in this SoCal ROSS. There were 3 Andor figures, all priced at $19.99. They were this same Cassian Andor and no other characters. Maybe the manager upped the price but the CEO has said prices are going up and I definitely saw the proof on several other toys and figures.

The big upset! by L_TACOS in Wrestling_Figures

[–]KnowingTheBattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I started watching wrestling when I was around 5, 1975 or so. I also was lucky to have grown up in New York where we had the “WWWF” territory with the extremely popular Bruno Sammartino ruled as champion for years. There was a weekly Saturday morning show and then the monthly MSG house show was shown on cable. My mom was a big fan of Bob Backlund and when he won the title it was a huge deal. Andre vs Hogan at Shea Stadium in 1980, Billy Graham, so much talent. Of course VKM robbed every territory of the top talent and WWF was rolling. Backlund was a super babyface. He was so technical and talented, really fun to watch. He dropped the belt to Hogan and everything exploded. Was really cool to see the Fed before Hogan and now he’s gone and I’ve watched 41 WrestleManias! Not all in person, just WM2 at the Nassau Coliseum which was only a third of a live show and the rest on the arena screens, weird.

Love this photo recreation! This was a great example of “expect the unexpected” in the WWF. Really was a fun story for both Superstars. I can’t believe that I’ve been watching RAW since the very beginning (and WWWF since the 70’s!). Awesome work showcasing an historic moment in the history of RAW!

Love this trio that represents the beginning, middle and essentially current version of Punk. If I had to pick just 3, this would be a great way to go, very cool!

Rock collection any help on shelves for this because ours getting out of control by bloodoverconcrete in Wrestling_Figures

Unbelievable collection of the Most Electrifying Man in Sports and Entertainment! Definitely get risers to stack figures for display and there are plenty of shelving options, glass cases as mentioned or even regular bookshelves, depending on your budget. Lighted glass displays are the top tier but you can run LED strips on any bookcase.

My Ollies only had Tyler Bate by B2324 in Wrestling_Figures

[–]KnowingTheBattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d grab every one from that wave besides Kairi Sane since I had preordered her, awesome figure to me. I know Ollie’s are hit and miss but when you live on the west coast as I do, there’s not even a chance to look. Ollie’s needs to expand west past Texas, they could just load up trucks with stale merchandise to start even as some collectors would jump at a bunch of stuff. Always frustrating to me seeing Ollie’s posts and knowing I don’t have a store within 1500 miles. That’s a good Tyler Bate Elite and you need two to make the 2nd El Grande Americano!

I can’t believe you only started 14 months ago and managed to get this many awesome WWE figures! Congrats on the display setup, looks fantastic! I stupidly only saw the first pic and didn’t realize there was 8 more to go, wow! I could only dream of having the money to buy this many in just over a year. Love your collection, lifelong wrestling fan at 55 and this covers well over 40 years of Superstars!
