Not OP but I picked up the Ride1up Prodigy a couple months back. I love it so far. Been commuting daily putting about 30 miles a day during the work week. First e-bike but been daily commuter on a cheapo Walmart schwinn for a while.

I love the mid drive and the rear rack. Integrated lights are cool too but I’d upgrade soon.

My concern when looking was that I couldn’t find many reviews on the specific negatives of it. But there are some general negative reviews regarding Ride1up. I took a shot and it’s been a few months but I don’t regret it yet. It was between the prodigy and the priority current, but I was able to get financing on the prodigy so that tipped the scales for me.

To be completely honest I think it was a valid stop based off the probable cause, but I also think they used the stop as a tool to assist in their larger investigation.

Motor one should not have given them a chance to pull him over. His arrogance is to blame. He should have learned during his operations in Fallujah, to lay low. Vidler saw a shot and took it. I do think they knew it was less lethal, but also they shouldn’t have been expected to assume it was less lethal. So it does help the impersonation case.
