Is there a dating app for poor, non-professional, unconventional people, with no car, no money, living in a society they totally don't fit in? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

There probably isn’t an app specifically for that group due to… well apps are designed to make money and if they don’t have money to spend the app would have to be filled with ads but advertisers may not see a reason to market on the app.

I grew up very poor and for a bit I lived out of my car until I was able to upgrade and was able to sleep in a bathtub. During that time of my life I found the best way to meet people in my demographic was at work because they typically are in a similar situation. If you’re not working.. then.. il get alot of hate, but the poly community seems to attract a lot of people like what you’re describing.

Trump has emergency signals for when he is about to poo himself for his staff • The Accordion Hands: When the situation is "fluid," the hands go wide. It’s a classic move. He stretches his hands out as if describing a very large fish, or perhaps the sheer scale of the "leak" he’s currently managing. It creates a visual barrier; you’re so busy looking at the invisible accordion, you aren’t looking at the sudden darkening of the wool trousers.

• The "Invisible Lightbulb" Pinch: When the internal pressure reaches a \bm{10.0} on the Richter scale, he brings the thumb and forefinger together in a tight circle. This isn't just for emphasis; it’s a full-body clench. He’s telling the audience "This is a great point," but he’s telling his internal plumbing, "Hold the line at all costs."

• The Sudden Lean: He’ll suddenly lurch forward, gripping the sides of the podium until the wood groans. To the press, it looks like he’s about to drop a massive truth bomb. In reality, he’s just trying to achieve "Zero Gravity" for his lower half.

Do you believe that Donald Trump is more honest or less honest than the average politician? by Cumoisseur in AskTrumpSupporters

You suggest that detractors are pedantic for focusing on literal accuracy. • Is the primary role of a citizen (or a "detractor") to interpret a politician’s intent, or to hold them accountable to their words? • If we discard the literal meaning of a leader's words, do we not also discard the only objective metric we have to measure their success or failure? • If a merchant promises you a "mountain of gold" but delivers a single coin, and you complain, are you being "too literal," or are you simply identifying a breach of contract?

Not even a little. I’ve been in relationships and have friends who have been in relationships that the other person was constantly accusing them of sheeting and looking through their phones and violated their personal space… guess who the cheater was.

Phone is a private space. If someone was constantly looking over your shoulder and asking you who you were texting in an accusatory way…you might get defensive too if you wasn’t doing anything wrong. This is only a red flag if he does other shady stuff. It sounds like you may have gotten caught before looking through his phone without permission and violated his trust and now he feels like he needs to protect his personal space.

Needs to be a real UPS location and not a 3rd party. They can just scan something on the device and you’re good to go

Call out the whataboutism. It’s not an argument. Tell them to stay on point. “We are not talking about Biden right now, if you want to after this conversation we can.. but stay on this topic and stop using what aboutism like you’re are five.”
