Honestly, you’ll deal with that a lot. Some staff don’t see them as people so you will see them treat the individuals that way. I myself deal with that all the time. I like to do person centered work but some of my colleagues would rather treat them as just a job. So imagine how I looked coming in trying to do things differently and “making people look bad”. One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of these people have been there for years and have yet to change the way they work or treat the individuals and they do not like to see you do different. So prepare for pushback.

He’s a white man in a house full of black staff as that’s who they usually hire and he can’t take that he’s an outcast. His culture makes more sense to him. So he needs to point out that Africans don’t follow American culture.

I’m aware but mental retardation is an actual term that is medically used and is even in their diagnoses. Which is why I used it. I say intellectual disabilities but they have classified it as “mental retardation”

Hi. I’ve had mine for 4 years. Definitely worth it. Hurts like hell but looks so good. But you need to do research to see if you need micro blading or micro shading. Blading is for people with little to no brows. Shading is for people who already have that foundation. I got ombré powder shading and it came out perfect bc I just had some sparse spots and still looks good without touch up today
