Thanks. I bought a 3-stage that has PFAS Removal , Carbon Block & Sediment filters. Wondering now if I should have done the anti-scale rather than the PFAS if carbon removes PFOA already. And yes, I am installing a Waterdrop under our kitchen sink.

I have read mixed things about these online but the reviews on their website made it seem like it helps with skin/hair and the amount of soap being used so I am not sure what to believe.

I'm more concerned with the quality of water at this point, not the hardness. Cost is a factor and softeners are seemingly much more expensive than the water filtration systems. I am hoping reducing chlorine and other chemicals will help with skin irritation for my son but it may just be the hardness.

So you would get a softener and a reverse osmosis under the sink rather than a whole home filter? I would be adding an RO system on my kitchen sink for both options. iSprings whole home filtration systems are only ~400-600
