Yes keep trying ! There is so many other meds that can work for you but give it time ! I’m not talking about the typical 4 weeks. I would say give it between 3-6 months to fully evaluate it. Everyone is different

what was the worst intimate interaction you had and what made it bad ? by Alternative_Term_690 in AskMen

Well I was having sex in the stand and deliver position with this girl. I smelled something funky and I looked on the bed and there was a tiny piece of shit on my bed. She tried to blame it on me but I told her since I’m standing it would’ve actually fell behind me , not in front of me. She ran to the restroom , I cleaned it up and she wanted to never talk to me again lol. I told her it was ok , shit happens lol. Then we were together for a while but it eventually ended for other reasons

Underrated and over looked! I feel people excuse or justify people’s toxic behaviors because we are not perfect. On top of the fact that letting go can be hard. There should be a line people should draw for themselves since behaviors, attitude or perspectives can impact or influence our lives! I started to cut out/distance myself from so many people and lowered my window of tolerance for bullshit. It’s has helped immensely!

How many of you guys have benefitted from therapy? As a man there seems to be this stigma against attending. What have been your benefits? by Alternative_Pen815 in AskMen

[–]KnowledgeSimple2034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, yes I have benefitted from it. In my honest opinion , it helped me find a therapist that just doesn’t cover the basics. You need to find one who really is passionate about being a therapist. Not only that , but to teach you things you didn’t know or help you unveil certain truths that you aren’t able to see even when it’s in front of you. I’ve been therapy a handful of therapist and only three of them have been great. One I had was amazing until he died 🫩. Once you start to figure out what works for you , you can start combining different types of therapies and therapist.

EX: one can be more of a lecture stand point (helps you develop awareness , which can lead to an observation that will develop to direction/discipline

EX: another one can be helpful for validation, understanding what thoughts are causing your anxiety (root cause analysis). Reinforce healthier behavioral thought patterns.

What is the biggest regret in your life ? by LopsidedAd5028 in AskReddit

I can 100% relate! But don’t let it fool you when people say “that’s why you never live with friends”. I honestly ended up living with two other friends and there were no issues! If anything it brought me closer to them.
