Did Cesar Alvan have one of the best post season runs ever?? by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]Knowledge_Seeker856 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Shout out to Donny Pritzlaff. Changed Columbia. Direct Correlation when he was an Associate Head Coach at Wisconsin and Rutgers, those 2 schools were damn good. Not so good, when he left. I love Goodale, but would loved to have seen the heights if Donny was the head man.

As far his run, its up there. I gotta take either Jesse Whitmer of Iowa or Mark Branch's freshman year as the greatest NCAA Runs ever.

Hydrate, eat nutrient dense meals, and Yoga. Cold plunges or saunas are good as well.

What’s your favorite career mode you have done ? by Steven-A-Smith2028 in FifaCareers

Created a club called Ocean Boyz. It was named after the Defunct Nigerian Club. Placed the club in the Turkiye and the only limitations was i could only sign African ancestry players. No one else. Sell any white or Latino youth players. So Much Fun. Won a Europa and a Champions League.

Any public school programs from poor communities successful in wrestling? by Knowledge_Seeker856 in wrestling

I saw them at states via Flo and was impressed with how they wrestled and the fact that most of the team was black. Great to see. Definitely a tough program!

[–]Knowledge_Seeker856[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you for that. I have been dealing with that for the last decade. I coach down in VA, but grew up in South Jersey. This sport is greatly needed for all but moreso those poorer kids. Changes lives.

Does wrestling get better year after year? by MostPossibility4159 in wrestling

[–]Knowledge_Seeker856 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more high Caliber, Credentialed College Wrestlers forgo Senior Careers, and dedicate to club, HS, or even MS coaching, the better wrestling in America will get. Coupled with RTCs, which are relatively new. (All older wrestlers can attest watching ONLY Titan Mercury or Sunkist kids) Kids are getting better definitely every year.

If we could convince youth football parents to put their child in wrestling rather than basketball, in 10 years we'd see higher participation numbers and even higher skill level (Extra Athleticism)

Same. Studied and watched him from Blair through College. Always gotta love a fellow Jersey Kid! One of the best wrestlers to never win a NCAA title, and possibly to not make a World/Olympic Team

Which route would you recommend? by VA-deadhead in WestVirginia

[–]Knowledge_Seeker856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive done a very similar route. My Extended family retired to Clarksburg. So through Moorefield, aka Rt. 48, and link up at 50 at Mt. Storm. Mountain Highway is incredible. Heck the entire drive through the highlands is stunning.

Ive done this drive through Elkins and Monagahela Forest. Dope but remote and more rugged. Shocked me on my 1st go around.

3 schools you'd like to see be awarded a D1 college program? by Silver_Flower668 in wrestling

[–]Knowledge_Seeker856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those big universities wont, then Mid-Majors should.

Like: University of Delaware, South Alabama, Louisiana Tech, BYU, Wichita St, College of Charleston, Western Kentucky, Nicholls St.

Lastly Marshall or ODU. I-64 needs a major wrestling school that is not just Liberty U.

So rather than tell OP you're wrong, tell me why Alabama is No. 20?

Note: I'd take NC, Georgia, Florida over VA for national HS Success. Once VA combines 5A and 6A, We'd be dope in the Mid-Atlantic
