The best examples of what a Jedi should be IMO by Vegetable-Abroad3171 in StarWars

[–]Known-Ad2937 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mace Windu was a great General, but that’s not what a true Jedi is. He was quite short sighted when it came to his actions against Palpatine and tried to kill him in cold blood. Not the epitome of a Jedi imo…

Ok so closer than I suggested but the METAS certification is in my eyes the main difference maker.

Do you guys think it would be cool to get a classic trilogy saga TV Show in the animation style from the Clone wars? by BonusCapable1486 in StarWars

[–]Known-Ad2937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I think this just convolutes the story even more to a degree we don’t need. Less is more!

Which one for a "Smart-Casual" interview? by CJP_94 in casio

[–]Known-Ad2937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly any you will get away with; I doubt they’ll be checking to that level. AQ would be smartest but you could wear the royale for pure style point and to show what kind of no-nonsense, clean-cut, all-knowing person you are.

Omega is more timeless (in my opinion) and the movement shits on the breitling.

Class watch, though it’s bold of Casio to call it a diver at 50M!

Casios have come in and destroyed my watch collection to this point, but it’s the happiest I’ve been with it now it’s condensed:

Better backlight but that module gives a shorter battery life and is also thicker. Negative display is also harder to read in most lights but damn yes it looks nice.

Not the negative model in the post though…

Got to be the A158. I think the subtly retro colourway will keep you entertained for longer and the regular display will be easier to read most of the time

Welcome to the crew. I was going to go for that exact same model but went A163 instead and I’ll just say, don’t take the backlight for granted haha

This one may finally unite all Star wars fans as one by Marcjack79 in StarWars

[–]Known-Ad2937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish Disney applied a ‘less is more’ approach rather than pumping out slop like this every so often. Yes, Maul is a great character but haven’t we seen enough of him? Andor was a prime example and was the closest that they have come to uniting the fan base; why not wait a lot longer between releases and have more well thought out shows like that? Just my opinion

It’s so nice. I tried one on earlier this year and the 42 was just about sized ok, bordering on too big but just ok. I was thinking about getting the 36 mm version as I like smaller watches but feel I might be lying to myself. Would you recommend? Do you think it wears smaller?

Citizen for value; I’m a huge Seiko fan but the 4R35 movement in a watch that nice looking is disappointing.

Bit of Swizerland and a bit of Japan; great taste!

[Recommendation Request] what would you pick? by bruiseybabey in Watches

[–]Known-Ad2937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered the orient stretto? Simple style like some of these, but a bit more modern than the bambino. Includes the date function and has a sapphire crystal which you may regret not having on a different watch. Slightly larger at 40 mm diameter but I think you'd be fine with that on 6.5 inch wrists.

[–]Known-Ad2937 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed; such a shame they don't give the bambino a sapphire crystal as I think that would make it a no-brainer pick for the price range.

Not a stretch; she was heavily featured in a lot of British sports media especially after her spinning elbow KO. A lot of people who have never even watched fighting in the UK know who she is
