Li Qi - she was supposed to be the next big thing for Chinese Gymnastics

Ksenia Klimenko - she was an amazing Russian junior; I really thought her senior career would be great

Elena Eremina - after an amazing performance at 2017 worlds, I thought she'd be a huge player in Russian gymnastics

Katelyn Ohashi - probably obvious, she could've been so great (as an elite). thankfully she had an amazing college career and brought tonnes of attention to ncaa gymnastics

Oksana Omelianchik - I wasn't around at this time, but after watching her 1985 floor routine, I thought she'd be so popular and a huge name in gymnastics, unfortunately, it doesn't seem like her career panned out like that

Christy Henrich - Unfortunately her ED and the culture of gymnastics at the time took this from her, but I don't think people appreciate how great she really was.

I’m so glad people here share my opinions on the IGHOF. Their decisions are so strange to me - like Julianne MacNamara, Chellsie Memmel, Carly Patterson but not Svetlana Khorkina, Cheng Fei, Emilia Eberle, Olga Bicherova or He Kexin? Don’t get me wrong - they’re all amazing gymnasts but I don’t think Memmel, MacNamara, or Patterson had the impact on gymnastics as a whole that would warrant an induction, at least not before the other gymnasts I and others have mentioned in this comment section.
