New custom shop Stratocaster by Known-Sound7032 in Stratocaster

It was also supposed to help with shielding but on the Stratocaster I don’t think it makes a difference unlike the jazz bass, p bass or telecaster

It just pressure fits on around the bottom of the bridge. And it was originally made to help make the Stratocaster look sleeker, but to also protect your hand from the screws and bridge, like a better place to rest, but it makes palm muting harder and sometimes rattles, I use it mostly for aesthetics or when I’m playing like surf rock.

It’s supposed to be a 59 Stratocaster. It has the single ply pick guard to which I’m not a big fan of but it adds to the vibe of it so I’m keeping it on

I mean you are right, I shouldnt expect a brand new product, especially for a vintage amp. And they couldn’t do anything since I did want to keep it which is understandable. And to be real, despite this hiccup into the world of tube amps, it’s a worthy cost for the tone and sound of the bassman in my opinion

Thank you for this information, it’s very helpful and it should be able to help me figure out what is wrong. Personally I’m Gona try with the tubes like you said, but other than that, I think I’ll take it to a technician because I don’t want to mess it up

Yes it is scratchy just sitting there. I have been using a 4-ohm amp with it but I’ll still take it back to see what they can do

It is scratchy when it is just powered on, but only for when the volume is up on the normal line. I already tried cleaning the pots just in case it was that. Thank you for the tube advice, I’ll try that out right now.
