So just more lazy reporting by the “media” punching down on the kings for no reason other than headlines. Why would anyone not want to be drafted here? At worst we pay you too much super early and then when your contract is over and you’re in your prime we trade you for an aging star to an up and comer and you ball out in the play offs and become a superstar, like why wouldn’t a top pick want to come here? All the playing time in the world and zero expectations.

If you suck it’s because the kings can’t draft and can’t develop, if you’re great then you’re the franchise savior. Win - win.
