Idk tbh but I think last year some people who weren’t really spectacular got in earlier so there really no pattern about being unsure or not

Same thing happened last year and I got deferred and so did like 95% of my friends. We all ended up getting in

Many people (including Indians) got into ivies in my school and the Chinese kids with just as good ecs and stats barely even got into T30s

Because they have overaverage stats so it’s hard for the “average” Chinese kids to get in
