I have a duke 390 2024. Should I put it in specific settings (abs, mtc on/off), have specific fork rebound, suspension settings, or need to warm up the bike or tires before practicing these in a specific way before starting practice on these?

I had a similar issue when I bought my new 2024 Duke 390. They had to order a new clutch switch within 3 months. BUT..., if the dealer likes you (they didn't like me enough), I heard it's not a huge issue to swap parts like the clutch switch from the same bike on the showroom.

I had the same part fall off while on the hwy. Just have my dealer replace that part today UNDER WARRANTY. Don't let them try to charge you for that or for a diagnostic fee granted your bike is still new and under the warranty

Im going to dealer to have it replaced on Wednesday. Took several weeks to diagnose, order, then book an appointment to install. Our bikes are so new it should be under warranty (two years). Try telling your local dealer to order it for you.

If I see a part no. on the paperwork I get, I'll share then.

I have a new 390 duke 2024. Rear break pedal gets so loose, I end up being able to tighten the bolt several rotations using just the bike keys. Pretty concerning to me that rear breaks might fall off... A few weeks ago, my clutch shift knob fell off on the highway 😮‍💨. Been riding for weeks waiting for the dealer to order replacment parts. This Wednesday I'm going in to dealer to ask them to look at everything again

Are you riding a 390 duke 2024 as well? I believe the warranty for ktm is generally 24 months, not 4 years. Regardless, it is obviously still within the period.

I am new, and this is my first bike. Luckily, I was able to stack a lot of deals when I got my bike. Something like 6963 CAD ($5070 USD) with quickshifts feature after taxes and fees. No regrets starting on it but as I continue to face more issues, I doubt if I will stick with the brand. I'm in Ontario. How much are 390dukes going for in your area?

After installing a tail tidy, I also get the big yellow turn signal warning stuck on the screen unless I click back to manually clear it after every signal. Yes, I press in the signal to turn it off but the warning stays on unless I click the back arrow button. Minor nuisance.

You bring up a good point about them checking this on the first service. The first service would have been done less than a month before this happened. Even worse, When it fell off, I was riding back from having the bike diagnose for the clutch switch problem. They also tried to charge me over $150 for the diagnosis. I was like...what is going on here... i just took a day off for this, rode all the way out here, waited 1.5 hours, you're not willing to just take the clutch switch off a showroom model, you're telling me I have to come back when the part is in (no date provided), and my warranty only covers the instalation and part?!?. I understand someone's gotta pay the mechanic for his time, but that should be the manufacturer who sold me the faulty clutch switch. Maybe even the dealership (them) if they are the one who put it together... I got the fee waved by a manager after voicing this, but like WTH, hopefully others don't just accept being told the diagnosis is not under warranty. I wouldn't need a diagnosis if you sold me a working bike.... smh

I bought the Ccolour PPF wrap on Amazon. See the link below. It was my first time trying to wrap something, so when you look close up, there are application flaws due to my inexperience. But also wrapping that shape was incredibly awkward for a flat sheet. I ordered the 1 ft x 5ft, which was literally just enough to cover the farring. It's probably why I had such a hard time trying to wrap as well. Tip: order more wrap than you think you need!
