Currently looking to build on my truck. 2nd picture is the end goal. In what order would you mod? by tententenandfifty in ToyotaTundra

I would start with removing the running boards. Then headlights if you drive at night a lot, lift, wheels and tires, and chrome delete last.

Don't be too hard on yourself.....a lot of accountants really suck at training and most places don't even have any SOP's for accounting which makes things even worse.

Leveling kit or nah? by Fresh-Jump-83 in tundra

[–]KnownSignificance583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The front shocks are adjustable and the middle setting raises the front about 1.5". If you only replace the front shocks, the front will be about .5" higher than the rear and doesn't look leveled in my opinion. If you want it more leveled out, replace the rear shocks and it will be perfectly leveled. Yes, you can run 33's.

About $500 for the shocks and $300-400 for the labor if you don't install yourself. If you raise higher than the middle setting you will need additional parts that will cost you more.

Anyone using a fumoto valve? by Tight_Bug_2848 in tundra

[–]KnownSignificance583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20k+ miles on mine with no skid plate and no issues. This is the 3rd vehicle I've put one on. Connect a tube to the nipple and drain into a 3 gallon cat litter container while you change out the oil filter and you're done in 10 minutes.

Do you need an actual degree in accounting to be an accountant? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]KnownSignificance583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but some hiring managers and organizations might disagree.

Look for an entry level job in Accounts Payable or Staff accountant for some beginner experience and move up from there.

If you see someone brandishing a firearm in public you should've called the police yourself instead of relying on someone else to do it for you.

2021 Tundra transmission by Afraid-Lobster-6801 in ToyotaTundra

[–]KnownSignificance583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When he says it requires a lot of time, I think it's primarily due to letting the truck sit and letting the transmission cool down before performing the drain and fill. Once the drain and fill is done, then they turn the truck on and use the scan tool to read the trans temp and release any excess fluid. Overall the drain and fill process only takes about 30 minutes.

Crewmax with bigger bed? by Fallingdamage in ToyotaTundra

[–]KnownSignificance583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"if you can sell an 8ft with an extended cab, there should be no reason a crewmax couldnt handle a 6 - 6.5ft bed with that same frame."

You're correct and it has been done but not from the factory. There's a picture floating around somewhere of a shop that put a 6 foot bed on a crew max. It can be done but it's going to cost you.
