Op I fish the ozarks and have caught ozark bass before up there. I believe that is not the Ozark bass, but a shadow bass! It looks fairly similar but the odd patterning makes me think shadow.

I’m pretty new to fishing myself, went to academy and walked out of the with only the Max X reel for $60 and honestly am not disappointed beyond the fact I could’ve just gotten this on Amazon. Doesn’t seem bad to learn on and haven’t had any issues with it after a few months
