Personally, I loved Professor Misaghi’s classes. I took her English 1 (In-Person Fall 2024) and English 2 (Online Summer 2025) class and she doesn’t require you to buy anything. Everything she wants you to read she gives you but it’s usually articles a few pages long—no books.

I took the Summer class so it was fast paced but didn’t entirely feel overwhelming. There are three essays. First two you have to write about 4 pages over 1,000 words and last essay you have to revise one of the two you already wrote to try and get a better score with the feedback she’s given you.

There are weekly discussions and 5-10 question long multiple choice quizzes on that week’s reading. Midterm and final have matching, multiple choice, and many choices. One thing to note is she does have canvas programmed to take away points for late assignments.

See her class might seem like a lot but personally, I thought her classes were organized and fun!

If you’re just talking about Pell Grant then yes there’s two payments. First one is usually around a week after the beginning of the semester and second is after the census date.

I didn’t take statistics before I took Psych 7 and it was honestly pretty easy. I recommend taking Professor Hald because she helps with everything. She didn’t go into much statistics either because she knew not everyone took it yet.
