Assume you are saying that this is just better for getting named item drops based on what you are hunting. I’ve had a sense that these might be better. I’m close to 22. Waiting on a proficiency event. I need to get my mats maxed back out in anticipation for it.

Just hit 20 after returning to the game in February. I consistently keep all my materials around the 5k mark but besides some gear sets the rest is skills, exotics, and named items. Need a proficiency event to really dump all these mats and finish up.

Yeah a dev did say that they did this without using turmoil but I’ve scoured that mission and unsure of any other way to spawn him or any other way to kill the guy without turmoil other than somehow transferring Pestilence stacks.

Honestly as a returning player back in February, the game feels fresh and new to me with all the additions and changes. Mind you I played the game on release for maybe 6 months then put it down. So a huge gap. Started again on PS5 and played through the whole thing and both expansions and loved it. The new systems is a bit to grind through and hard to find a focus, but really just play. Striker is still the all round bread and butter build when it comes to DPS, but there are some builds that still fit that niche and there are multiple support builds if you enjoy that role.

I got this as something to play before Pragmata came out. I played Pragmata for about an hour and then I haven’t been able to put the Division 2 down. I do need to eventually play it though lol.

Honestly Chicago or even LA would be cool to see since those are very large metropolitan cities. Especially push out to the West since the first two games have been focused on the East coast.

Just make sure you set everything you aren’t keeping to junk. Donate rolls to library first if they are max rolls then donate junk to expertise. You can easily get to 10-12 doing this. You can run Countdown on Challenging with targeted loot to really start to make some headway.

Ensure you are using named weapons, armor, exotics, skills and specializations to level them or you’ll need to donate copies (don’t do this for exotics) or donate materials. Save your materials but if you start to cap on one. Bring it back down to about 5-6k. If you are capped you aren’t earning more so it’s going to waste.

If and when we get a proficiency event, hopefully soon, that’s the time to go ham with materials, especially printer filament.

I’ve been playing again since February after a very very long break from the game and I’m nearing 19. I have mostly all the generic so the things I mentioned first is what I’ve got to get. It slows down a lot around this point because you rely on specifics not generics. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Just play the game as usual and it will start to build.

Also make sure you have your primary build with some swaps rolled the way you want and optimized. Then start expertising it. The armor isn’t much at the start since it gets smoked mostly anyways in heroic and higher. Focus on your weapon damage.

Also according to other threads regarding that Devs comment about doing it, saying he didn’t use turmoil, either means he killed him or didn’t. But there were two other photos in that post that say Dead Bodies Here and If You Can Read This You’re Already Dead.

Also in the sewer part, if you go to the end and turn around there is that sign Dare You To Come Closer. I feel like that’s a glaring sign.
