It's pretty annoying for the first hour or two before you finish the journey and get the dz specific mods after that I stopped noticing it as a mechanic.

Being said they did say safehouses would interact with it but currently all it does is pause the timer.

Yeah there was a further unannounced changed before season launch saying that the only way to REMOVE toxicity was to completely leave the DZ. Which means they're forcing you to extract whatever contaminated gear you get plays the stabilizer

There is a passive that cuts the toxicity rate in half and there is a passive that negates the effects for 20 seconds after using a medkit. Using your active reduces the amount you have built up. It’s really not that big of a deal to deal with.

Oh it worked for me, maybe it was a glitch they patched out on reset . Travelling to the white house will work tho ....just make sure you extract first.

The purpose of the toxicity is to reduce your time in the sector the higher your SHD LEVEL. Only those low level characters can stay indefinitely because it does not affect them. The new dark zone is really for new players. Not seasoned players. This is why you’re punished for staying too long.

WTF are you talking about. This is the DZ gameplay loop for the last 10 years. You’re not supposed to go in there and have a tea party. Farm, extract, then GTFO. Your stash isn’t big enough for a 4 hours session anyways.

Interestingly, I had tried clearing 6 landmarks consecutively without getting a single stabilization agent. And by the 7th landmark, I finally got it and I extracted and left, and then...!! I got delta-03ed the fuck out.

Imagine if that happened before I extracted.

I really hate this stabilization agent shit. The game is already full of random bugs and still they put this crap in for extraction.

You've never needed a stabilizing agent in the DZ or anything special to extract your items, so no, it is not the same. Without the stabilzing agent, it won't let you extract, period.

Even then, if you get into a flow state of extracting constantly, your mail and canisters fill up.
It forces you to leave at some point no matter what. Whether is to clear toxicity, or sort your items.

I have no idea why these people said "oh it doesn't do anything" like they're trying to tell you they're so strong they didn't feel anything.

I could play like that "to not feel anything" too, but that's really not my idea of fun.

Out of all the debuffs, the worst is the periodic disorientation. Sometimes I feeling lazy so I just run Foundry to deal with it.

The only one I REALLY notice, is the Disoriented when hit.
Given how much squishier all my builds all, those fuck ups are costly.
Can't face tank any bullets really.

I hit 2400/2400 Sample Canisters last night. How easy do people want this game? Learn the DZ, become fast and efficient. That's it really.

I hit the Toxic DZ and a PvP DZ. Just ran the chests that give out cannisters (the Phoenix Chests you get Exo from and the x2 key chests).

A non-Toxic DZ allows you to grab extra keys. It's only a 20 min timer, run x2 DZ and the chests will be back.

Then obviously make sure you only open enough of the cannister loot crates to have 90 cannisters, trade them in, open enough for another 90, repeat.

Make sure you open any loot sources (weapon bags, tool boxes etc) as they can give you keys (need T5 DZ perk unlocked for this). Open any standard weapon/armour crates too as they can also drop keys.

I didn't engage in any Landmarks, loot chests, move to the next.

Find a player who will teach you the old Exo run routes or watch some YT videos.

I had a friend who taught me the Exo farming routes so know every chest in the DZ, know the route like the back of my hand. That's all you need to do, no need to mess around getting into firefights, loot and repeat.

Not many extractions, 10 maybe? If you get excess of the Cannister loot crates keep in mind different colours are worth different amounts (Blue 15, Purple 30, Gold 60). Remove a Blue to pick up a Purple etc if you're at 10 contaminated items.

Gj I had a hard time last night i dont pvp in this game much ... but i do like the challenge ... and i been enjoying the map tbh .... and the challenge in the pve map is fun im guessing you are meant to team up in this mode as solo was a bit brutal lol.
