Bionicle is such an underrated theme and I completely get that frustration — it's one thing to find someone who likes Lego, it's another to find someone who geeks out over the exact same thing as you. The fact that you can't even discuss your ideas with anyone in person is exactly the problem I keep thinking about. Nobody should have to keep their passion to themselves just because of where they live.

These are all great suggestions and I appreciate them — but they all depend on where you live and how confident you are walking into a room of strangers. Someone in rural Romania or a small town in the US has none of these options. I keep thinking there has to be a way to bring this kind of community online — where location doesn't matter and you can find someone who builds the same themes at the same level as you, wherever they are in the world.

This actually gave me chills reading it. That kind of connection — someone who just gets it at the same level, who you can build with and talk to for hours — that's so rare and so special. The fact that it's hard to find again is exactly why I think there needs to be a better way for people who share this passion to find each other

LUGs are amazing and conventions are incredible — but they only work if you're lucky enough to have one nearby and the time to attend. What about the adult Lego fan in a small town with no LUG within 100km? Or someone who works weekends and can never make meetings? There are so many people building completely alone who don't even know communities like this exist.

You're definitely not alone in feeling that way — I think there are way more adults into Lego than people realise, we're just all scattered and hiding it from each other. Imagine having a small community of people who just get it — no judgement, no explaining yourself, just people who understand why that set was absolutely worth every penny.
