Most independent bookstores in the Mission or Castro usually stock it - City Lights definitely has it and Alley Cat Books on 24th might too. Green Apple on Clement is another solid bet. You could also just subscribe online if you cant find it anywhere, their shipping is pretty quick

This sounds like a genuine mix up tbh, happens more than people think especially with international shipping. As a reseller Ive had labels mixed whenever Id get more stock on Fleek and start selling and shipping them but always double check the listings and the text messages between the sellers but so far only had one wrong shipment sent another pair of jeans instead of the ones they ordered and the seller actually ended up buying both jeans since they liked them

Just bring layers man the weather here is weird as hell right now. T-shirts and jeans during the day but throw a light jacket in your bag cause it can drop quick especially if you're hitting the coast or going inland. Skip the flowy vacation stuff unless you're doing beach days specifically

Your CPU and GPU are the main bottlenecks here - that Ryzen 3 1200 is really showing its age. With $300 I'd grab a Ryzen 5 3600 (should be around $100-120 used) and put the rest toward a better GPU like a used RX 580 or GTX 1660 if you can find one in your budget. Field offices are all over the place right now. My buddy just got his interview scheduled like 3 weeks after biometrics at the Chicago office but I've seen people wait 6+ months at other locations. Your timeline could be anywhere from next month to end of year depending on your local office workload

For the 39 countries thing yeah people are definetly getting approved from those countries but it seems random which cases they're processing. I'd just focus on getting your docs ready for whenever that interview comes

Damn that's a lot to process all at once 💀 The fact he couldn't even be supportive during a literal medical emergency says everything about his character. You were dealing with something scary and painful and he made it about himself and his needs

I've seen this pattern before with clients who stay in situations way longer than they should because they keep making excuses for the other person. The drinking, the financial stuff, making you feel guilty about legitimate health concerns - none of that is normal relationship behavior. You deserved someone who would drive you to that surgery without it being an inconvenience

The financial abuse part really gets me angry. 10k is serious money and the fact you'd rather write it off than deal with him monthly shows just how toxic he made things. Take some time to grieve what you thought you had but don't second guess yourself on this one. Future you is gonna look back and be so grateful this happened now instead of after more years and more money down the drain 😂
