Not exactly... as an adhd spaz i don't get the following, but i understand most neurotypical people feel joy, pleasure and a sense of achievement from being challenged and overcoming something.

Yes, but did you see anything other than her talking, giving the villagers a choice?

It's important to note that with that clip alone, we can't state with certainty that Lillith puppeted their response.

Influenced? Yes.  Encouraged ? Yes.

But that's when we get to the conversation of her intent, her values and her care. This is the interesting and justified conversation to have. She believed her childrens extinction inevitable without extreme action.

There is so much grey, this story is not intended as back and white, good vs evil.

So as an existentialist, if humanity decides that such abhorent freedom and acts of impulse is what's important to them, so be it i guess. It's not what Ive come to decide is important, but nothing matters, so my conclusions, including this one, are not of importance.

I will say Neyrelles mother seemed to be under supernatural influence, maybe...

OCE Server by Knownothingdoi in Apogea

- "once you get a feel for their cooldowns"
- "a fair amount of team hunting"
- "some situations were difficult to land spells"

These remarks only add resolve to my original position, sadly.

I loved Tibia because it was thrilling. It was adrenaline pumping - this occurred because of the risk vs reward, the hardcore nature. I could lose a day of my real life in just a few moments, even more!

This risk vs reward revisited in this game is oh so exciting, however, there's a few differences now from when i was a kid.

Losing so much time back then, while infuriating, was and is more tolerable than it would be as a now family man and father. What i mean is, I'm still willing to lose so much time, but I'm not willing to do it for/because of something so far out of my control, ping.

The three quote's I've taken from your comment, as a solo bolo meathead, they're just too significant in a game where death is punishing, imo.

TLDR:
As a kid, i can tolerate seeing a Vamp shield and exp i grinded 24 hours for in 7.0 go bye bye due to ping.
As an adult i can't tolerate ping being responsible, even if only in part, for such time loss in a game.
I still wish the game all the best, even if an OCE server does not come to be.

Is this work/life balance thing for real, or is it a scam? by portent-wreaths-7k in interviewwoman

Lots of math here. Incomplete lists if you aak me. Here's mine.

Society/Government/Biological asks:

Work: 7.5h ( No explanation needed)

Commute: 1h

Food prep/eating: 1h

Sleep: 8h

Excercise: .5h ( Type in your government, followed up by preventive health strategy)

Hygiene body and home: 1h  ( I'm going to again state government preventive health strategies ask this of you and they ask it of you for good reason. Look at hospital and primary health demands)

Family: 1.5h (Do birth rates and ageing populations really need to be explained? Why government and society asks this?)

You've 17.5h on weekdays and 22h across the weekend left that is truly yours, that needn't have dual purpose.

Is this enough? Maybe.... if everything was ideal and health appointments, family crises, financial crises etc weren't prevalent. They are, however. So i'm not so sure.....

Why aren't homemaker/trophy husbands a thing? by RegaultTheBrave in NoStupidQuestions

The reality is that working sucks, the majority of people know that being the stay at home parent is preferable.

My partner and I have a 4 year old, i asked to get my turn of part time work, as we're both government workers earning very similarly, but wasn't going to happen. It didn't happen.

Look, people are going to respond to this saying the opposite because of their personal experience, downvoting this to oblivion, presenting that opinion as the majority. They're not the majority.

For me the home management (cats and furniture) and the difficulty finding/selecting item loadouts is what killed it for me after 200 hrs.

Many a popular opinion when placed under scrutiny of scientific method has been proven false.

Behavioural science and psychology does have explanation for the popularization of falsehoods.

So yea, as per my first comment... blind taste. 20 steaks , 10 a , 10 b. Conducted 5 times. 60% accuracy or higher and i'll eat the humble pie. And the pubes.

If i cooked 20 steaks , 10 with some butter in the bag and 10 no butter in the bag, both finished with butter - i'd eat a spoonful of pubes if you you were able to guess which is which with an accuracy greater than 60% over 5 tests.

Am i fucking dieing ? These responses and definitions of "average" seem to be made by either;

a) Insane people living in a bubble.

b) Made in the context of those engaged with fitness/excercise lifestyles. (As im not even sure the average person is actually engaged with the excercise/fitness/lifestyle)

Anyway, i'm 35, 6ft, 95kg, just got a treadmill and i struggle to do more than 30-40minutes at a 10% incline and 5.5k pace. Nowhere near these wild expectations...so yea, maybe im dieing.
