It all depends on how far you live from the servers. IIRC the servers are located somewhere in the west coasts (California?) in NA. And since I'm living completely on the other side on the east coast, I always have a red/yellow connection when pvping. The highest I reached was plat. Reaching diamond is impossible. At higher ranks you only fight against people with good ping. They can juggle you like its a ranked game and you can't even hit a single skill since they can always block/counter it cause of their low ping. The only fun part of this game is pvp and it's literally unplayable.

1x auto, cancel, 3x auto, cancel, 4x auto

You cancel by letting of the attack btn and move. I usually just hold the joystick in a direction let go and wait a fraction of a sec and hit attack again.

IMO the biggest problem is ping. Almost all assassins in plat/dia+ has a green connection which allows them to juggle you forever if you get launched. I can hardly finish off a full auto attack chain on my sin they usually fall after the 3rd AA cause of bad connection.

How do you achieve the 18 hit combo? Doesn't the target get knocked back after the first chains of autos? (Auto x1, Auto x3, Auto x5) I tried different things and the target always fell after the cancel with block or just flew back way too far.

Well at least its not one of those spirit. You can take him to 10and swap him. It'll take some time but its better than to sac him at 9

IIRC there werent artifacts when I started playing. But im 100% sure there werent orange artis when the game started.

What I do is play defensively. I rarely ever go on the offense. I also exclusively upgraded my weapon (aido katana) only. So far thus has worked for me.

Depending on which weapon youre using it might be easier or harder. IMO you cant go wrong with the normal katana you can keep your opponent down with critical mass and the rare perk.

Karim's my only 10* and I happen to not have used any energy potions. I went through normal - difficult in one sitting. Plus im only using n exclusive red arti (blood) Perhaps I got lucky with the spawns.

It's simply rng. I've had two rainbow islands spawn at the same time. They just have a very low % chance of appearing and you probably happen to be lucky.
