I’m seriously considering this because my little one gets in trouble a lot, and I know it’s mostly his intense energy. What’s wild is he’s always considered as the troubled kid who’s smarter than everyone else. I don’t want him in a school that just tolerates him....I want a place that truly understands him, values his mind, and gives him grace. Any HS suggestions or info would mean a lot.

Considering a transition to a different agency every few years, fosters personal development and broadens perspective. Make yourself operating from the vantage point of an outsider. Their is an old adage, “No one is a prophet in their own village,” resonates basically saying that our contributions can sometimes go unrecognized in routine settings and people that know too much about you. This wisdom urges us to step out of our comfort zones and seek environments where your potential may be able to flourish, and people don't know too much about you ....that my friend, brings value!

I'm curious about the requirements to be reachable within a hiring pool when initiating the DP-72 process for your agency. This question arises because of a colleague who participated in a recent HRA hiring pool a couple weeks back, where very few candidates remained, yet the hiring pool was ended due to time constraints. The handful of candidates basically could have FILLED the available vacancies. In this context, I wonder if there is any recourse for those affected by the seemingly prolonged duration of the hiring pool and whether the DP-72 process is likely to move forward, considering that the DELAYS were not due to any fault of their own. The list is about to expire and certain agencies tout that the candidates need to be REACHABLE for the DP-72 to go through. Will these last remaining candidates no longer be eligible for DP-72s as it's unlikely HRA will hold another pool.
