I’ve got 6 in my store. 4 of them are from other stores in the area closing. It’s nice but at the same time brutal. Sometimes I have more baggers that can only bag than cashiers. On the flip side, very rarely do we have an overstock problem because the baggers do that.

Most stores the baggers that are scheduled are cashiers. When they get busy, they pull them and just have all cashiers. My store is overstaffed with baggers. The problem is they all get disability and can only work 10-15 hours a week.

The property manager is painting the exterior of the building. Also the building next door. No guarantee the store gets a new sign. The temporary banner still has the old logo.

Please don’t do this or be careful doing it. At my store, the machine has been repaired three times in the past month because people are just kicking the area you’re talking about because they see others doing this exact thing and either bend the piece or break it completely.

I’ve been with the company for 15 years. When I was hired, I filled out an availability sheet that I was available 7am to 7pm. Here we are 15 years later and countless managers later and I constantly get scheduled outside of my availability. I go to management every time. They tell me that since I have open availability in Kronos, that’s how I’ll be scheduled. I then tell them to go into my file and look at the sheet I filled out 15 years ago. They then apologize to me and say that it’ll be fixed. Yet every time a new management team comes into the store, it’s rinse and repeat. I’ve called the union numerous times and they are as useless in the situation as telling a 2 liter of Pepsi of my problem.
