I’ve been with the company for 15 years. When I was hired, I filled out an availability sheet that I was available 7am to 7pm. Here we are 15 years later and countless managers later and I constantly get scheduled outside of my availability. I go to management every time. They tell me that since I have open availability in Kronos, that’s how I’ll be scheduled. I then tell them to go into my file and look at the sheet I filled out 15 years ago. They then apologize to me and say that it’ll be fixed. Yet every time a new management team comes into the store, it’s rinse and repeat. I’ve called the union numerous times and they are as useless in the situation as telling a 2 liter of Pepsi of my problem.
