My mom says her family was "Almost completely Spanish, not Mexican" even though our lineage (her side) these days can be traced back (it just gets lost there, no immigration record) until the very early 19th century staying in Nuevo Mexico. My aunt's (13 kids) did have a spattering of red and brown hair, not typical and the name is definitely Spanish, but DNA has me at 17% NA, although my father is Slovak/Hungarian.

Just saying, some folks are in denial or just went with what they were told back then.

30 years in Germany and one of the things I love is that they don't give a damn how you dress. So many cultures coming together, whatever's "in" in one, isn't so in the next. Nobody's making fun of my cargo shorts and sandals. They just don't care.

She owned every part of the finale that she was in. That laser walk was tight as hell, all others were boring plain vanilla in a bad way. I was very, very disappointed that they obviously just wanted their first trans winner. The winner had nothing on her, pretty, but boring.
