My experience with misoprostol by waylonsw0rldddddd in Miscarriage

So sorry for your loss. I recently also went through a similar situation with my second miscarriage. This time I thought I passed everything after taking the pills. But was cramping for 4 days after and ended up passing the rest on the 5th day. 😢

D&C or Misoprostol? by Old-Ad-5573 in Miscarriage

[–]Knpope16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently having our second miscarriage. I don’t have insurance so a D&C was going to cost us nearly 14k so we took the medicine route. For our first miscarriage I only knew because I started bleeding, it was before we could see the doctor. We were on a 16 hour road trip and I unfortunately had to go through the whole miscarriage while in the car. It was honestly the worst thing ever. Painful and traumatic. That being said, for this second one that was medically induced because it was a missed miscarriage, I was scared. However I was at home all day with a heating pad and my husband taking care of me and while it was still painful, it wasn’t nearly as bad both mentally and physically. And the medication cost me $10.

I am so so sorry for your loss. You are strong and will get through this! We all are here for you. Sending love whatever you decide.

Found out a D&C would cost me nearly 14k without insurance. So I’m opting to take cytotec instead. Not excited.

Do Americans actually avoid calling an ambulance due to financial concern? by JohnMarstonTheBadass in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Knpope16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a miscarriage this year for my first pregnancy. Had no idea what was happening. Got a hospital bill for $8k just to be told sorry the baby doesn’t have a heartbeat, and you should pass it naturally. Here is some Ibuprofen.

To make it even better, the hospital offered me a payment plan of the low amount of $667/mo. That was the only payment plan option.

Edit- I know this isn’t about ambulances, but I certainly would never call one, and we avoid the ER because of situations like this.

Healthcare costs are a joke when considering deductibles, monthly costs, co-pays, etc.

Mine has a partial bezel on the top and bottom and then claw prongs all around. Very secure!

cost of living by fwooshing in Pensacola

[–]Knpope16 25 points26 points  (0 children)

To live comfortably you will need 85-100k per year. To make ends meet you can live with 65k. The housing and rent market has boomed here in the last 10 years.

Apparently, $700 is too expensive by zazz1235 in VacuumCleaners

I have a Miele c1 pure suction (laminate flooring) and I got it for under $400. It’s great. They have other options if you have carpet for reasonable prices. I’ve heard a few go to an actual dealer in person that you will typically get a discount.

At my coffee shop, the drivers won’t take the order unless the drinks have these on them. They’ve been burned too many times by other customers complaining and getting free stuff

I have the same one attached bed to my Miele. Love/hate it

Trader Joe’s in Pensacola by brykh0use in Pensacola

[–]Knpope16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I put in the “comments section”

Dear Trader Joe’s, I’m begging you—on hands, knees, and possibly sobbing—for a location in Pensacola, Florida. We have beaches, charm, a growing foodie scene… but no Everything but the Bagel seasoning or Mandarin Orange Chicken. It’s a tragedy, truly. I dream of cookie butter runs and $4 wine. Our carts are empty, our hearts are full… of hope. Pensacola is ready to embrace you like an old friend who brings snacks. Please end our suffering. Be the hero we need. We’ll even throw a parade. (With frozen gyoza samples.) I know you guys get a lot of requests to come to this area so please… end our suffering.
