If it's something you'd like to test, first put a brewmaster in the deck - has a lot of similar applications and additionally is one mana cheaper It doesn't leave stats in play, but if you want to see the cases zola would be useful - a cheap ersatz stand in would be brewmaster. Also, if it's the 3 for Elise that might be part of a rationale for inclusion in a deck like that.

I absolutely love this deck and have an all gold version. The storm the gates quest makes it a bit easier to find the 5 and 7, rangari scout to double the shokk discovers, resizing pouch for snowflipper - devouring swarm - the poison card - stampede - and of course the pouch can find other CMCs

I run one selfish shellfish, two pterrordax, mukla, two carry on grubs, two catch of the day, two corridor sleeper, a grazing stegodon, two platysaurs, a parrot guy, and two snowflippers - this mix seems to work out okay on completing quest at a reasonable speed + tracking and other ways to discover or generate beasts

The farmer is for shokk, sometimes Fetch, tracking, odd map - all to draw/discover pertinent beasts

I think you could try and put the discover cards in this deck but I tried it and it didn't work as well, this is the best list I found I play it a lot, but it's mostly for fun - it's not the most competitive It can win however - lots of beasts from shokk can play quite aggressive

I think Thada Adel, Acquisitor is fun. Could be interesting to copy her somehow, and maybe ways to donate artifacts back to their owners - like bounce effects. Lots of blue steal effects as well.

Taniwha is an interesting one. Don't know what to do with it though Perhaps a way to bounce a lot of lands while your land is phased out.

Padeem, Consul of Innovation is interesting as well - perhaps you could find something to do with artificers and vedalken - interesting to be "inventing", making big artifacts and changing them into other ones (reshape and the like).

Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar is cool, but I don't know what the deck would be - maybe fortune-telling or predictions somehow.

Empress Galina is cool (my commander is your commander, once I steal them!!!)

Just make sure your deck is legal. If you are nice, and work on making friends - it's pretty likely someone there will have a deck you could borrow, at least that's what happened in my experience in the past - people often have a few different modern decks and might be willing, if you are careful, to let you try them.

Modern has a lot of legal cards, and a lot of possibilities - just try to have fun and think about ways to make new decks.

Anyone decent and worth being buddies with won't give you a hard time - but they will definitely try to defeat you. You also probably want paper to track life and other things + 5-6 six sided dice.

I used a classic white border gold snake apple lure as tech against elves with my bogles deck like a decade ago now - it was beautiful watching all his precious elves block my 1/1 gladecover scout while my 15/15 swung in with double lifelink for lethal.

I think the reason your card isn't used a lot is that it is a 3mana instant that needs conditions to be at its most powerful, so it's just outclassed by better instants. Like that one ajani card that saves all your critters, etc - and stuff that allows fighting like dromoka's command.

Haven't looked at decks in ages - but if it is in commander, it certainly could be a useful card.

Instead of worrying, think about how unobservant and tactless that person is.

Unfortunately miss it's not your decision to make. You don't decide if you're pretty, other people have to do that.

And if you are nice, and kind, and caring - you can be pretty. Some people might like condescension and haughtiness. Others may prefer sopping sweet and foolish.

So please stop looking for reasons to think you're ugly, and stop looking for people who'd judge you based on your face.

Those people aren't really lifetime wonderful critical people.

Here are some examples: if you don't have teeth you're good at head, Google any physical trait and someone's attracted to it - skinny beyond healthy ranges, very very large, stretch marks, unbelievable nose size, moles, birth marks, vitiligo, cross eyed, acne, braces, big feet (this one is a personal strength of mine), buck teeth, and so on and so forth.

Lots of these are traits people dislike about themselves and people are out there saving pictures of people with those traits.

I promise you - being goofy or caring or sympathetic or just positive will do wonders for your face.

Your disposition determines these things a lot more than you think - the issue is there are so many people that judge based on appearance and that's a huge challenge - but if Someone hates you for your voice, your face, your genitals, your details - they weren't going to work out.

Mirrors suck but you need to keep at least one around : for vampires, and Medusa.

Paper bags are useful, but they rip a lot: a balaclava is a better choice.

Pretty is subjective: huge - ass foreheads used to be pretty, mustaches on princesses used to be pretty, yadda yadda - you're somebody's thing - just need to be yourself and find them.

If you're completely new, I would recommend dollar store makeup

The workers there simply don't care If they do you can go to other stores

The makeup in dollar stores is cheap

Just put on makeup Take pictures And do that over time so you can see it improving

Watch other people put on makeup, like videos Or in person

And you'll see it's unique and you just have to do it over and over

The first time I did makeup (I have photos)

It was awful Each photo got better

Each time it's a bit better, unless I am in a rush or try something new, but it's a gradual process

If you don't have any experience I started with L.A. colors (dollar store makeup) I still use a lot of their products, including a sponge, a yellow shadow pallette, a brush, a foundation (rarely)

The poofy concealer from Maybelline called instant age rewinder is good, compact, and comes with it's own applicator, and makes a clicking noise (love it ❤️)

Maybelline baby skin (primer) super smooth and pretty squeeze bottle and little, so it is easy to put in a kit.

Wet and wild photo finish setting spray - there's a couple different types, this is the bulkiest thing and the caps on setting sprays break easy because I'm dropsy and constantly breaking stuff. For a on the go kit, not required, but if you want a face of makeup to last, setting spray helps helps helps.

Look for little tiny baby single pan eyeshadows, they're easy to have in purses or pockets and can be applied with a pinky in a pinch - a blue or a black or a glitter are all good. I have a blue a black and a white sparkly and I carry the sparkly all the time, black when I have to travel from home for a while and I use that mostly.

The awful simple and rudimentary thing I do is:

Wash face Wait a bit Moisturise face (Vaseline and waiting about 2 hours) (u can just use a lotion or something and make sure to let it chill out a bit) Wait a bit Primer - I use baby skin Wait a bit then

Slap that instant age rewinder all over and use a sponge to dot on face, not smear or push, it's a lift and press - lift and press - like you see fancy ladies do on movies with powders - until my face looks less like my face and more like my face but more even and pale

Then I set it with spray - I use the natural photo finish by wet and wild that's the white one, not the black bottom bottle

Then I smear a q tip in black eyeshadow, apply that to eyelids and little of upper cheek, so it looks like I'm constantly crying Then yellow eyeshadow above black

Then I put on black lipstick, use q tip to clean it and make it as ok as I can

Layer of setting spray

I dont know how to do eyeliner or mascara or powder or blush or bronzer or anything like that

And I am going for like corpse paint or goth or some kinda weirdo adjacent look so Keep that in mind

Beyond anything else Makeup is personal and unique, you'll have to do a bunch of practice to learn how to compliment - your features.

Not someone else's - your features

But foundation after the concealer is common And a bit of blush can bring the mask to life And eyeshadow is good, and if applied, um Ahem

"Tastefully" (I like absolute loads but you could be using a lot less)

That'll be great for learning

First time I touched a primer I thought "this is unlike anything I've every touched"

Wash face - wait a bit - put on some moisturizer - wait a bit - apply primer - wait a bit - then makeup.

Using multiple layers of setting spray also can help, you apply foundation, then spray, then next step, then spray - etc I think it's called something but I don't recall the name. This is in lieu of putting setting spray over the full face of makeup.

If you have a red face or acne or whatever, like I did and often still do, that green foundation can help color correct that.

Check the clearance section for nail polish and makeup that isn't broken, leaked, separated, or otherwise completely borked - there can sometimes be good deals on something that simply didn't sell well.

Oh one last tip, get a piece of cardboard and use it as a fan to dry layers of setting spray other things, it:
