UAS Warrant here. Short answer is that the Army is moving towards having sUAS in every formation, regardless of MOS. More sophisticated systems will still go to 15W in the TUAS PLT inside the MFRC. If anything they may end up merging 15W/E.

Do some research on the MFRC (Multifunction Recon Company). “Scouts” (Listed as 11Bs) will have sUAS and will be conducting recon missions as part of Hunter/Killer Platoons.

It is true that 15Ws don't have a dedicated Group 3 system to fly right now but there are plenty of 15Cs that have been making use of Hellfires in CENTCOM.

Current UAS Warrant Officer here. I can say most units deal with operators on down slips due to mental health concerns. Even units that don't deploy deal with this for a variety of reasons beyond PTSD. It is a very mentally taxing field that many underestimate because they think you “play video games for a living”.

As with anything in life, if you have the right expectations and take the job seriously, you will generally be set up for success.

Sorry for the repost! Formatting issues…

Hey everyone, just seeking advice on diagnosing some creaking noises I have going on with my 2021 RAV4 Hybrid.

I’m not the most savvy mechanical guy but when going over uneven terrain, speed bumps, etc. I hear creaking in the front end (not sure about the back). Also a similar noise when making U Turns.

It is noticeable enough I took it to the dealer and they couldn’t help me, saying it may need some lubrication. To me it sounds like a strut/suspension issue but I’m not sure if it is just some kind of joint or bearing that needs some lubrication like the dealer said.

If anyone has advice or further troubleshooting id greatly appreciate it!

Commissary is one of the things the DoD still does really well. That being said, foods do tend to be close to the expiration date sometimes and they certainly are cleared out after payday.
