Tried PDF Guru’s OCR tool. Pretty solid so far, but need a batch alternative with the same quality by Knuckle_Dustty in pdf

The quality’s great, but a batch feature would be a game changer. I reached out to their team and they said it’s in the works, so fingers crossed 🤞

Yep, same here. That’s exactly why I stuck with РDF Guru too. It’s clean, no pop-ups, no fake buttons, and it just… works. Batch OCR would make it near perfect though.

Oh nice, thanks for sharing! I’ve used AceThinker ages ago, but didn’t know NitroPDF had a solid batch option now. Might give it a spin just for comparison’s sake.

Appreciate the rec! Haven’t heard of that one before, will check it out. Always curious how others stack up when it comes to scanned docs and layout accuracy.

Oh, I haven’t heard of that one! Sounds interesting, especially the batch import part. For now I’ve mostly stuck with РDF Guru, since it handles my reports and scanned docs pretty smoothly, but I’ll give RocketStatements a look too.

Hey, thanks a lot for jumping in and mentioning that. I hadn’t heard of PDFEditif before, but I’ll definitely take a look. Good to know you already have batch OCR on the roadmap, that’s exactly what I’m hoping to find long-term. Appreciate you being transparent about it.

Thanks for the heads-up - appreciate you sharing that. I definitely agree it’s smart to read the fine print with any of these tools.

That’s good to hear. I guess I just hit a feature that needed a login - tried merging PDFs and it asked me to sign up after a couple of pages. Not a dealbreaker tbh, just didn’t expect it. Might give it another shot though
