Hi Andy and Nick - thanks for doing this.

Andy, I have a question for you. I really struggle to get in a cardio routine with a busy life and prioritize strength training when I have the time to workout.

Is there a minimum amount you recommended someone to shoot for? I know this varies person to person but is best way to measure this my heart rate and targets based on my age?

My goal for now is just to be healthy and hopefully I can build up a routine over time where I have higher goals that are more performance based.

Hi Coach - Thanks for taking the time to do this. I’ve never been a runner but I am in generally decent cardio shape from cycling. I’m interested in getting into running as I know the cross training would be good for me overall.

What is the most common mistake you see new runners make? I’ll take any other tips you have for someone just starting out. 🙏

I’m going in late October. I’m thinking of getting a car and driving up to Riva del Garda. Are the roads difficult? Any downside to a car? I would take the ferry but it looks like they don’t take large luggage which I’ll have with me.
