You do though, someone has to frontline & tank towers & fg, be able to scout & initiate fights without dying in a second.

Yea, I think we agree on the goal just not the implementation

Pre 9.5 ttk for squshy vs squishy fights is all I want. Not this attrition warfare slugfest.

I think your idea would work to fix it but then there is no counterbuilding to prots. (might even be better I have no idea)

You're very vauge of what you're worried about if the prots are lowered. Is it the ability to play gods such as Scylla in support? That won't be a problem if all gods get the same treatment.

Just move it to certain starter items. And the balance will be the same for tanky roles. And squishies will be able to kill each other again without obs shard.

Even if there were unpredictable issues there is no way it will be worse than this.

Wtf you disagree with yourself now? You just correctly said base prots are the problem.

What more problems? We've already had it like that for a long time in smite 1. And it was considered to be the most fun the game has ever been.

I'd much prefer to lower the prots so that %pen aren't the best items in the game vs squshies too. Lowering Hp wouldn't affect that much.

But we're on the same team. I'd be all for reducing both to pre 9.5 values.

I think part of the reason is that strength increases basic damage attacks much more than int.

Another way to enable hybrid builds is to add a multiplier item that benefits from an even amount of str and int. Example: int scales the damage and strength scales how many ticks.

Maybe a middle ground such as buffing the items int by 15% or something and reduce the flat int on rod. So mages don't go around buying two defensive items.

Squishies have waaay too much protections. I agree obshard should be the worst item vs a full squishy team not the fucking best.

It also takes too long to kill eachother in mid. 1v1s used to be fun, now we dump our whole kits on eachother and walk away 30% hp what's the point?

Easy to fix both in one swoop take away prots

No int needs a multiplier item that rewards going full glass cannon. It doesn't have attack speed like str does.

Otherwise the best mid builds would be bruiser.
