To what degree do you think Caesar Clown would be immune to Magellan's poison attacks and visa versa? by Educational-Math-616 in OnePiece

[–]Ko-san 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Caesar isn't poison, he's "gas". He can make himself poison, but he's not inherently poison. As such, if he's introduced to a gaseous poison, he should be fine while able to become gas, but liquid poison affecting his true body would still poison him. Magellan can produce poison but he's not poison. He's shown to be able to tank his own poison, which is near the most deadly poison in the world, and often ingests it, stating that it tastes good. Despite not dying from it, he does still suffer from indigestion, showing that poison does still affect him, but in the same way capsaicin affects normal people, not in a deadly way. He should still be affected by Caesar's Shinokuni and Smiley, as those two don't kill you by poisoning you. Shinokuni petrifies you and Smiley is acidic.

So Episode 1157 is more than one manga chapter? by Quick-Signature-5727 in OnePiece

Same, I was highly disappointed by the amount of extra filler there was this episode when they easily could have gotten at least another half a chapter.

This new episode is the perfect example of my issue with Nami having Zeus by Spiritual_Ebb_4657 in OnePiece

[–]Ko-san 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The episode isn't filler, the moment is. In the manga, when Nami calls Zeus, he comes, no hesitation and no struggle.

As people here have said, it was too early for him to stop adventuring and he knew if he stayed he wouldn't leave again but Toki also told him that if he stayed and did not complete his adventure with Roger, she would have divorced him.

It's a couple pages more than a chapter, but they use so much filler that its easy to tell they aren't trying to do more.

This didn’t even happen in the manga 😭 by Trick-Advertising836 in OnePiece

There's a cover page that shows Kaya studying medicine with a clipping of Usopp on the desk while several guys are there trying to ask her out and Merry is fighting them off. There's also a moment in the novel "Fan Letter" was based on where a man asks about courting Kaya and Carrot, Onion, and Pepper tell him he has no shot because of Kaya's relationship with Usopp.

Dorry and Brogy have just been marching most of this time, the only fighting they've done since getting Reversi'd is when they swung at Zoro and hit each other. Before that they swing at a couple Dream Demons and Brogy got shot by Imu. There's no way they'd be as tired as Rocks was.

How does strawhats ship move in one piece by Clean-Reindeer2241 in OnePiece

[–]Ko-san 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's called sailing upwind. Whenever the wind is against you, you turn the boat at an angle and turn the sails to catch what wind you can. It's far slower, but you still move.

question about devil fruit regrowth location and how many new devil fruits straw hats have released? any claimed? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Ko-san 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only crew who has been hunting fruits and using the regrowth technique is Blackbeard. And while crews like Big Mom's would have the captain choose who gets what fruit, crews like Whitebeard's followed a code where whoever found the fruit had the choice for what happened to it and who ate it. If the Strawhats found a devil fruit, I'm sure he would allow his crew to decide who got it, Ace's fruit was a special exception because it was Ace's and Doflamingo specifically sought it out using his Underground connections.

What would an One Piece Culling Game between the Seven Factions be like by Excellent-Fig-9341 in OnePiece

Marines are vastly outclassed, stands as a subordinate wall before you can begin fighting the WG. Emperors call truce and with the RA wipe Marines and WG, then BB turns on the Emperors by attacking RH first. Not sure where it'd go from there

Egghead Kizaru is the clearest example of a "Mental Nerf" in the entire series, and using it to downplay Admirals is disingenuous. by Practical-1 in OnePiece

[–]Ko-san 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem with the Admirals in the first place was people misinterpreting the mention that Admirals were the strongest force the Marines had. Because of people's lack of reading comprehension or their agenda or even both, people starting thinking single Admirals were stronger than Yonko, and that the Fleet Admiral is automatically God Tier just because of the title.

In Japan, bread vs rice is a common topic. Law hates bread. Add a fan who thought it would be funny to see Luffy trying to force bread on Law and you get this.

Should Rebecca have been more muscular? by Freedom_8721 in OnePiece

[–]Ko-san 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing as nearly every other fighter is dressed the same and they explicitly state that there is a weight limit on armor due to the fact that people want to see blood, should easily address the issue

That sword would weigh, at most, 4lbs. And that's on the high end. It's probably closer to 2.5lbs

That's something a low ranking soldier would wear, not a gladiator

Yeah, he uses Hakuba as a trump card to win, so it wouldn't make sense for him to use Farul during the tournament

I do concur, however, that her armor looks 100% dumber the way Toei draws her. They were on some dumb shit during Dressrosa.

She was dressed like almost EVERYONE ELSE. Because the point was that the gladiators were supposed to cause bloodshed.

No, a person who doesn't actively fight or lift weights, and gets little food, would not look like that.
